Huron County offers an incredible network of professionally groomed and marked snowmobile trails. These trails are maintained by various local snowmobile clubs (Districts 5 and 9), and are part of the Trans Ontario Provincial Trail.

Trail Permits are mandatory and can be obtained at many area gas stations and snowmobile dealerships. 50 km/hour is the maximum speed limit. The Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs can provide detailed information on trail permits, membership of operating clubs, insurance and regulations.
